AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas hosts Friday’s Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson boxing event pitting the YouTuber-turned boxer against the former undisputed heavyweight world champion. On Tuesday, the open workouts will stream live from the Toyota Music Factory in Irving at 6:30 p.m. ET.
Originally, the bout was scheduled to take place on July 20, but was postponed due to Tyson suffering an ulcer flare up due to ‘too much bad food and stuff.’ The match was rescheduled for Nov. 15.
Tyson will without question be the most skilled boxer Paul has stood across the ring from, but Tyson is also 58-years old going up against someone 31 years his younger. Paul is coming off a TKO win over Bare Knuckle boxing standout Mike Perry in July. He’s 10-1 in his professional boxing career.
Tyson last fought in November 2020, facing Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition bout. The fight went the distance and was ruled a draw. He last fought in a sanctioned boxing match in 2005, losing to Kevin McBride via RTD, meaning Tyson quit on the stool.
The rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano for the WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, and The Ring lightweight titles serves as the fight card’s co-featured bout.
