Mike Tyson looked every bit of 58 during his fight with Jake Paul, but the boxing legend was purposely underperforming, claims Sylvester Stallone.
At the very least, fans were expecting the fight between the two power punchers not to go the distance. Not only were the judge’s scorecards brought into play, but the entire matchup felt like a light sparring session.
As the dust begins to settle on the clash and both parties go their separate ways, Sylvester Stallone has shared his thoughts on the proceedings.
While he respects Mike Tyson’s decision to participate in the fight, Stallone is certain that it was rigged.
“Just to set my personal record straight, business is business,” Stallone said. “Sometimes you have to do hard things and sacrifice for the sake of helping your FAMILY.”
“I have known this unbelievable athlete since he’s 19 years old and what we saw was him giving one of the great Oscar winning performances of all time!”
“Please, Jake, be grateful, HE SPARED YOUR LIFE! Trust me.”
Stallone then went on to give Tyson his flowers.
“Keep punching Mike. There will never be a MAN like you, a GLADIATOR like you, and a SOUL like you!”
“Keep punching champion of champions! I remember once I bumped into him and thought I was hit by a runaway BULLDOZER!”

Amazingly, Mike Tyson’s fight against Jake Paul was his first professional outing for almost two decades.
Tyson looked aggressive in the opening round but it quickly became clear that the aging boxer should not be competing in the ring at his age.
After adding one of the biggest names the sport has ever seen to his resume, Jake Paul is looking to bigger opportunities in the future.
Paul has his sights set on a future boxing world title fight and has been called out by the undefeated Artur Beterbiev—though the influencer prefers a meeting with Canelo Alvarez.
