Rising lightweight star Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett is in fight week of the biggest fight of his career, but that hasn’t stopped him from smack talking the top contender in the division.
No. 12 ranked Pimblett faces No. 7 ranked Michael Chandler in Saturday’s UFC 314 co-main event in Miami, Fla., but took the time to trash No. 1 ranked Arman Tsarukyan in an interview on the Full Send Podcast.
“He’s just a little posh boy who has had everything handed to him on a silver platter by his dad,” Pimblett said about Tsarukyan.
Tsarukyan was scheduled to fight Islam Makhachev in a rematch for the lightweight title at UFC 311 in January but pulled out of the fight the day before the event citing a back injury. Pimblett doesn’t believe the Armenian was injured.
“No,” Pimblett answered when asked if he thought Tsarukyan was actually injured. “He’s a little b*tch ass. That’s what you are Arman. Little b*tch boy.”
“He was doing them videos were he flips forward on his neck and then he’s saying that he’s got a bad back. Dana [White] shot him down in that interview. I was like, ‘Woah, that’s heavy. You don’t want the boss saying that about you.’ He (White) got asked, ‘Is Arman still No. 1?’ And he’s like, ‘No. He’s going to have to go back to the drawing board.’ (He) basically said the doctors came out, and the best masseuse at the PI come out and they never said to him, ‘You can not fight.’ He decided he’s not going to fight,” Pimblett said.
“So, basically Arman, you sh*t your pants. That’s what you did. You farted and followed through and had sh*t coming down your leg. So, that’s basically what happened.”
