The official UFC Kansas City weigh-in took place on Friday morning at the host hotel in Kansas City, Mo. with one fighter missing weight.
The event is headlined by a welterweight bout between No. 7 ranked Ian Machado Garry (15-1) and No. 13 ranked Carlos Prates (21-6). Machado Garry will enter the fight looking to rebound from his first career loss in his last outing. Prates will bring with him an 11-fight winning streak looking to extend it and jump into the Top 10 rankings.
Prates officially weighed in at 170 pounds. Machado Garry tipped the scales at 171 pounds.
