Jake Paul trashes KSI and Misfits Boxing

A boxing match between Jake Paul and KSI has been discussed for years. After all, KSI and Logan Paul fought twice.

The older of the Paul brothers lost his only professional boxing match to KSI via split decision in 2019. The two had previously faced off in an exhibition bout the year before that resulted in a majority draw.

Jake was asked why a fight with KSI hasn’t come to fruition and “The Problem Child” didn’t hold back in his response.

“From our side, we’ve always been the ones wanting to make it happen,” Paul said during an appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show. “We’ve always tried to make it happen. I agreed to go down to 192.5, which is lower than Gervonta, the weight we have agreed for Gervonta, which is lower than me versus Canelo. Now there’s all these new negotiations terms that I’m not even away of. They only want eight rounds. So they just keep adding new stuff all the time and I’m focused on much bigger things, becoming a world champion, fighting guys like Gervonta, guys like Canelo, guys like Anthony Joshua in 2026.”

“I’m all KSI has,” Paul insisted. “He’s literally nothing without the Paul brothers. Logan brought him Prime, and Prime has kept him relevant. Him being able to fight me is the only thing he has left.

“At the end of the day, I’m doing much bigger things and don’t need to sit here and be negotiating things on Twitter. If they want to make the fight happen, they’re going to do it.”

Paul doesn’t think a fight against KSI will ever happen at his point. That ship has sailed.

“I’m clearly the one that’s an active fighter. I’m clearly fighting everybody. I don’t care. So, who’s the problem? It’s clear as day,” Paul said. “They just aren’t a serious boxing brand, or a serious boxing business. Misfits Boxing has gone to sh*t. Their whole entire thing is a joke. Their brand is a joke.”
