UFC fighters react to Jake Paul’s one-sided win over Mike Tyson

Jake Paul‘s controversial matchup against Mike Tyson took place on Friday, November 15, and on a night filled with phenomenal fights, the main event under-delivered.

Despite expectations already being low for the clash, the headlining bout largely underwhelmed. While it wasn’t as great as many fantasized it to be, the fight did attract a significant amount of eyes to the product. Among those watching were UFC fighters, who were quick to share their thoughts on the bout throughout the night.

The highlight of the entire affair between the two arguably came in the moments before the fight. During a backstage interview with his son, Mike Tyson comically strutted away from the camera, accidentally revealing his bare behind to the world. As expected, this caught the attention of MMA stars who spoke out online.

After having a respectable first round, Mike Tyson faded as the rounds piled up and Jake Paul began taking over. UFC fighters reiterated their previous comments about why the fight is even being allowed to take place.

Tyson’s mobility was a major factor in his downfall and made him a sitting target against a man 31 years his younger.ย

Mikes 58 and has a bad knee. A lot of you were expecting way too much out of him.

Though many expected disappointment, fans were treated to something much worse. A snoozefest saw Jake Paul pick his shots and cruise to a unanimous decision victory without ever truly threatening the knockout.

While it was less than entertaining, not seeing Mike Tyson get finished by a controversial YouTuber was the silver lining on the night.

What’s next for Jake Paul remains a mystery but he does have several names on his list of potential next opponents, including Canelo Alvarez.

If his dream fights don’t unfold in the boxing ring, a venture into the world of mixed martial arts under the PFL banner could be planned in his future.ย
