Conor McGregor has been found guilty of sexually assaulting Nikita Hand dating back to 2018.
The jury has today ruled that the former two-division UFC champion is guilty of rape and further charges await. Many believe the ongoing case is the main reason for the Irishman’s prolonged absense from the octagon, though it remains unsure if that is the case.
According to the victim, she was battered, savagely attacked, and later sexually assaulted by Conor McGregor. The news broke earlier today, confirming that McGregor had lost his case in civil court.

The victim, Nikita Hand, has been awarded over $235,000 in damages for what she endured six years ago.
Hand spoke to media following her victory, thanking her daughter and pleading with others to speak up.
“I want to thank my daughter Freya, who I’m most grateful for, she has given me so much strength and courage over the last six years, throughout this nightmare…”
“I want to show Freya, and every other girl and boy, that you can stand up for yourself if something happens to you no matter who the person is, and justice will be served.”

Conor McGregor isn’t sitting back and taking the decision lightly. He announced his intention to appeal against the judge’s verdict at a later date.
“I will be appealing today’s decision,” McGregor confirmed moments after news broke of his sexual assault charges.
“The judge’s instruction and the modest award given was for assault, not for aggravated or exemplary damages.”
“I am disappointed that the jury did not hear all the evidence that the DPP reviewed.”
