The UFC Kansas City officially weigh-in took place on Friday in Kansas City, Mo. ahead of Saturday’s event on ESPN.
The event is headlined by a welterweight bout between No. 7 ranked Ian Machado Garry (15-1) and No. 13 ranked Carlos Prates (21-6). Machado Garry will enter the fight looking to rebound from his first career loss in his last outing. Prates will bring with him an 11-fight winning streak looking to extend it and jump into the Top 10 rankings.
Both men hit their mark on Friday. Prates officially weighed in at 170 pounds. Machado Garry tipped the scales at 171 pounds.
